So, the catching up hasn't been going to well ! However, here are some images from Gill's lovely February wedding. Showing it is perfectly possible to have a romantic mid summer look to your flowers mid winter.
Simple bouquet of dusky pink and ivory roses with ruscus for Gill using Keano and Avalanche roses.
Dusky pink rose and white freesia make a gorgeous buttonhole for the groom.
The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet, a hand tied mix of Keano and Avalanche roses with ruscus.
Tall centrepiece of mixed dusky and pale pink roses, spray roses and gypsophila in a cocktail vase. Spray rose buds and ivy trail down the stem to create a lovely finishing touch.
The base of the design with the ivy trail and spray rose, lace covered tea lights complete the romantic look.
Romantic, tall table centre of mixed pink roses and gypsophila at the Woodlands Lodge hotel. A lovely touch of summer in the middle of February.
A different idea for the top table and ceremony table. Pretty little mixed vases of flowers and church candles make a lovely alternative to the traditional long and low. This grouped design was first used on the ceremony table and later moved to the top table.
That just leaves me to say thank so much Gill for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, it was an absolute pleasure and I hope you had an amazing day.
