Sophie's Wedding Flowers - De Vere Grand Harbour

It has been all go lately and I am sorry I am so behind with the posts. Here though are the lovely Sophie's wedding flowers. A pure and simple scheme in all whites - lovely

Sophie's Bouquet - white hydrangea with gypsophila, very fresh and pretty

White hydrangea and gypsophila bouquet in pure and simple all whites.

For the men, buttonholes of white double lisianthus with a touch of gyp.

Bridesmaids' bouquets all boxed and ready to go. White hydrangea and gyp for the adults and a pretty posy of all gypsophila for the flower girls.

A different idea for top table flowers, little mounds of hydrangea and gyp with candles in between on a run of mirror plates  for a simple and contemporary look.

Top table flowers with the silver candelabra table centres behind.

Modern top table, mirror plates with white hydrangea and gyp designs and candles in between. A lovely idea for brides looking for an alternative to the traditional top table designs.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Sophie for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on this very fresh and pretty scheme.

Claudia's Pale Blue,Green,Ivory Wedding Flowers, De Vere Grand Harbour

August is a fabulous time for hydrangea and I love them mixed with roses and orchids. Claudia chose an absolutely gorgeous variety that has both pale blue and mint green tones, very soft and very beautiful and so here they are - Claudia's wedding flowers.

Pale blue, mint green and ivory bouquet of hydrangea, singapore orchids and roses.

Corsages of ivory roses and singapore orchid for the ladies. The men wore classic buttonholes of rose and double leaf.

Pale blue-green hydrangea, avalanche roses and white singapore orchids make a gorgeous table centre. This one is low and the inside of the vase is decorated with orchid flowers threaded onto grass for an unusual contemporary touch. The idea can be adapted to make a striking tall version too, have  a look at Lisa's wedding a couple of posts down.

Low table centre of hydrangea, roses and orchids in pale blues, greens and ivory.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Claudia for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on this gorgeous scheme with it's oh so soft colours. Very many congratulations on your marriage.

Kelly's Modern Wedding Flowers, De Vere Grand Harbour, Southampton

Kelly chose red as the colour scheme for her wedding but for her bouquet was keen to use a blend of Cranberry reds, oranges with a dash of lime in a soft but very modern design. And so here they are Kelly's wedding flowers.

Modern trailing bouquet of red roses, orange orchids and freesias with pale green cymbidium orchids and trails of red rose petals and orange orchids. Very striking and very unusual, I loved making this wedding bouquet for Kelly.

Co-ordinating buttonhole of red rose and orange orchid for Luke.

Bouquet of roses, orchids and freesias in reds, oranges and pale green. This design would be suitable for a bridesmaid but in fact is Kelly's bouquet without the trails. It looked quite stunning at this stage and so I thought you might like to see it. In fact the bridesmaids wore trailing wrist corsages of orange rose petals, sadly not something that photographs well unless it is being worn but you can see the corsage design in my main web site in the bouquets section.

Table centre of red roses and petals with candle and tea lights, just stunning with all the candles lit.

Romantic top table design of red rose petals, candles and tea lights.

Simple cake topper of red roses and petals.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Luke and Kelly for choosing  me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, it was an absolute pleasure. I hope you both had a fabulous day and very many congratulations on your marriage.
