Kortney's Rustic but Elegant Spring Wedding Flowers, Lyndhurst Catholic Church and The Pig, Brockenhurst

A sneak preview of Kortney's lovely Spring Wedding flowers, the venue flowers follow but here are the wedding party flowers. This was a formal black tie wedding with a very rustic twist for a very rustic venue so the flowers had to reflect both - A very natural but also elegant look. I loved it !

Spring bridal bouquet of white lilacs ( syringa), ranunculus and sweet pea. A beautiful natural bouquet for a Spring wedding.

Flower girl posy of white lilacs and ranunculus with a little foliage.

Karen's Fun and Wild Wedding Flowers, Avington Park

I have to say I had a lot of fun working on these gorgeous designs for Ian and Karen's March Wedding at Avington Park. The colours were a gorgeous rich mix of burgundy, fresh spring green and silver and the look was very natural - almost wild. It was important to create a sense of fun for the wedding breakfast so we worked on some very different table ideas - each one different but all with same very natural look.

Karen's bouquet, a very natural almost wild shower bouquet in burgundy, green and silver using calla lilies, ranunculus, singapore orchids, freesias, viburnum opulus and eucalyptus.

Bouquet in deep burgundy, spring green and silver for the bridesmaids, the same natural almost wild look using calla lilies, ranunculus, singapore orchid, viburnum opulus, ornithogalum, curly twig and eucalyptus.

Groom's buttonhole of burgundy calla lily, green singapore orchid and curly twig.

A very fun tall table design of burgundy gerberas, tulips, orchid and viburnum opulus with spires of curly twig and ornithogalum. Definitely a design to raise a smile.

Ali's Very Natural, Ivory, Purple and Teal Wedding Flowers with a touch of Wild

Ali described herself as "a bit of a hippy at heart", a tall willowy bride in a long flowing Jenny Packham Dress -  this called for something a bit different. I love something a bit different ! The colours are purple, teal, silver and ivory  and the style, very natural with a hint of wild. Nothing to formal or to structured.

Trailing and very natural, tied bouquet in purples, ivory, silver and deep green using roses, lisianthus, passion flower and astilbe with silver eucalyptus and loops and trails of ivy.

Purple, ivory, silver and deep green country style bouquet using Dolomiti roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus and passion flower with loops of ivy. For Ali's bridesmaid.

Natural, tied bouquet  of ivory roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus, passion flower and loops of ivy. Just a touch of wild about this design.

Buttonhole of Dolomiti rose and deep green ivy leaf for the men.

And for the ladies, a corsage of ivory rose, spray rose, astilbe and ivy leaf.

Lastly, a close up of Ali's bouquet, a gorgeous mix of  ivory roses, purple lisianthus and astilbe with long trails of eucalyptus, ivy and passion flower.

I had a lovely note from Ali after our initial meeting thanking me for " achieving the impossible - making me excited about my flowers" And an equally gorgeous text after the wedding because she absolutely loved her flowers and her bouquet. That meant so much - to know that you can inspire people to love flowers even when they thought that was not possible.Like men, there is a bouquet for everyone, even those who had given up !

On that, I will just say thank you so much Ali for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I really did love working on these gorgeous and very natural designs for you and I am so glad they were loved so much.

Amanda's Christmas Wedding Flowers

Winter wedding bouquet with a strong Christmas look of roses, holly, ivy, mistletoe, green pine, skimmia, mini fir cones and birch twig.
This really is a sneak preview as Amanda's wedding is not until tomorrow, the last Sunday before Christmas.. She asked me to create a very natural looking christmassy bouquet with a tiny touch of wild and I really loved creating this one. To help the theme along the british weather has done it's finest and yes that is snow you can see in the background. The bouquet has been safely delivered to Amanda so she is all set for tomorrow and no need to worry about a thing on the flower front.
Christmas / Winter bouquet of roses, skimmia, holly ( spineless! ) and tree fern for Amanda's bridesmaids. Co-ordinating designs with a slightly softer look to go with their pale burgandy dresses.

Christmas wedding flowers.
. All boxed and ready to go. And indeed now gone !

All that remains is to wish Amanda all the very best for tomorrow and to thank you for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I really loved working on this very natural seasonal look.

Emma's Wedding Flowers,A tear drop bouquet with a hint of wild

A sneak preview of todays wedding bouquet, a gorgeous informal tear drop of white calla lilies, singapore orchids and roses with mixed foliages. Emma was looking for a modern, long, narrow bouquet with a hint of the wild about it to compliment her fabulous fish tail dress. The trails of slightly unruly evergreen jasmine provided the hint.

A detail shot of the top of the bouquet

A coordinating design for the hair mounted on a clip for Emma and a buttonhole for the groom.

Thank you Emma for choosing us to design and create your flowers for your wedding and many congratulations on your marraige.
