Ali's Very Natural, Ivory, Purple and Teal Wedding Flowers with a touch of Wild

Ali described herself as "a bit of a hippy at heart", a tall willowy bride in a long flowing Jenny Packham Dress -  this called for something a bit different. I love something a bit different ! The colours are purple, teal, silver and ivory  and the style, very natural with a hint of wild. Nothing to formal or to structured.

Trailing and very natural, tied bouquet in purples, ivory, silver and deep green using roses, lisianthus, passion flower and astilbe with silver eucalyptus and loops and trails of ivy.

Purple, ivory, silver and deep green country style bouquet using Dolomiti roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus and passion flower with loops of ivy. For Ali's bridesmaid.

Natural, tied bouquet  of ivory roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus, passion flower and loops of ivy. Just a touch of wild about this design.

Buttonhole of Dolomiti rose and deep green ivy leaf for the men.

And for the ladies, a corsage of ivory rose, spray rose, astilbe and ivy leaf.

Lastly, a close up of Ali's bouquet, a gorgeous mix of  ivory roses, purple lisianthus and astilbe with long trails of eucalyptus, ivy and passion flower.

I had a lovely note from Ali after our initial meeting thanking me for " achieving the impossible - making me excited about my flowers" And an equally gorgeous text after the wedding because she absolutely loved her flowers and her bouquet. That meant so much - to know that you can inspire people to love flowers even when they thought that was not possible.Like men, there is a bouquet for everyone, even those who had given up !

On that, I will just say thank you so much Ali for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I really did love working on these gorgeous and very natural designs for you and I am so glad they were loved so much.

Zoe's Wedding Flowers - Buttermilk and Purple, Cams Hall

Zoe chose the stunning David Austin rose Patience as the focal flower for her wedding and we combined the lovely buttermilk shade with purple, deep green and a tiny touch of dusky pink.

Bouquet of David Austin Patience roses, purple stocks, purple lisianthus and a touch of dusky pink gypsophila for Zoe. It smelt divine and I didn't want to part with it !

Stunning bouquet in purple and ivory-buttermilk using David Austin roses, stocks, lisianthus and pink gypsophila.

A smaller version of the bridal bouquet for the bridesmaid who was in teal.

A smaller version again for the flower girls, Patience roses, purple stocks, lisianthus and gypsophila.

A pomander of spray rose, lisianthus and gypsophila for the tiny flower girl.

Tiny posies and pomanders for the flower girls, all boxed and ready to go.

White lisianthus and pearls make a lovely corsage for the mums.

A floral garland for the stairs using roses, grouped lisianthus and gypsophila, a gorgeous way to decorate the entrance to the reception. This one is at Cams Hall.

Ivory and purple garland of flowers and foliage for the stairs at Cams Hall.

Top table design in buttermilks and purples using David Austin roses, purple stocks, lisianthus and a little pink gypsophila.

Zoe had a vintage tea party theme so the centre of the tables was used for the food, I decorated the space around with scattered fresh rose petals and purple lisianthus which made a gorgeous finishing touch.

Cake topper of roses, lisianthus and gypsophila, just needing the cake to finish it off !

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Zoe for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working with these gorgeous flowers and colours. I hope you had a fabulous day and very many congratulations on your marriage.
