Wedding Showcase, New Place, Shirrell Heath

Here at last, some of the photos from the January Wedding Showcase at New Place. A chance to see just how beautiful this venue can look when all set out ready for a wedding. We gave this one a distinctly winter theme to show couples what a lovely time of year this can be to get married.

The dining room at New Place dressed ready for a wedding ceremony. Silver lanterns and candles line the aisle and the ceremony table is decorated with a winter themed long and low design incorporating more candles.

Winter themed long and low design for the Ceremony table at New Place. Roses and Hellebores with skimmia, pine and eucalyptus make a gorgeous combination for a January wedding. Winter themed but looking into the Spring with it's lovely ivory, apple and silver colours.

My lovely new silver lanterns lining the aisle . How gorgeous do they look with all the candles lit. Matching chair covers and sashes by The Wedding Project.

A massive thank you to my friend Sally Johnson for these lovely photos.

Photos of the Bristol room and Arden suite follow as soon as I can. It's a busy time of year and I've got very behind on the photo front. Sorry.

Amy's Christmas Wedding Flowers, New Place

Amy's Christmas wedding with a vintage glamour twist. The colour scheme was champagne and ivory with a touch of silver and gold and Amy wanted the designs to have a winter feel  to them. I love a Christmas wedding & it was a real pleasure to work on this one - in the warm sunshine !!

Vintage glamour bouquet of champagne roses with strings of pearls and crystals wound through it for Amy

Wedding bouquet of Vendela roses with pearl and crystal strings wound through, just gorgeous and very Amy.

Winter corsage in silver and white using rose, silver wire leaves and diamante for mum.

Wrist corsage in silver and white using a rose and diamante on a hand made silver wire bangle for the other mum.

Bouquet in silver and white for the maids using Akito roses with a hand made silver wire mesh surround. A gorgeous design for a winter wedding

For the flower girl, a co-ordinating design of Akito roses with pearls.

Christmas wedding at New Place, table flowers - candelabra with scattered roses and petals

The Arden Suite at New Place set up for a Christmas wedding. I love the table  cards with the gold snowflakes and the tiny gold crackers at each place setting.

For the top table we used the same design used for the ceremony table earlier with the tall dinner candles co-ordinating with the tall candles in the candelabra.

Top table flowers, Vendela and Akito roses with silver skeleton leaves and candles. Perfect for a winter wedding.

The place setting for our Christmas bride.

Last but not least, Amy's gorgeous vintage glamour wedding cake decorated with fresh roses and petals.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Amy for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved the vintage glamour twist to your Christmas wedding and it was an absolute pleasure  to work on it with you. Very many congratulations on your wedding.

Charlotte's Autumn Wedding Flowers - East Horton Golf Club

For her October wedding, Charlotte choose a lovely mix of pale roses, freesias and foliages to give a beautifully soft, classic but natural look to her flowers. The designs also had hints of vintage and hints of autumn and very beautiful they were too.  And so here they are - Charlotte's wedding flowers.

Buttonholes of rose, eucalyptus and ivory hypericum berry for the men.

Charlotte's autumn bouquet of roses, freesias and berries with trails of ivy. To create it I used Avalanche and Vendela roses with freesias and hypericum berry mixed with variegated pittosporum, asparagus fern and eucalyptus.

Posy of rose, berry, mixed foliages and a butterfly, 1 each for the 2 little flower girls.

Wrist corsage of rose with eucalyptus leaf, asparagus fern and diamante for Charlotte's mum.

Candelabra flowers in whites, creams and silvers using roses, freesias and berries with mixed foliages and trails of ivy at the East Horton Golf Club. I used the ivory hypericum berry and berried eucalyptus to give the lovely, natural, autumn vintage feel to the designs.

Candelabra flowers at the East Horton Golf Club. The hand painted sign at the back gives the table name ( all golfing terms)  and is suspended by a pearl string which I hooked over the candelabra arm. A really gorgeous little touch.
