Lauren's Early Summer Lavender themed Wedding Flowers, Rookesbury Park

The first of the early summer bouquets using all the season's favourites, Lauren was looking for a detailed mix of flowers in soft pinks, lavenders, mauve and purple with a dash of plum for the bridesmaids for her lavender themed wedding.

Pink peonies, purple Sweet peas, lavender, stocks, lisianthus and freesia make a wonderful early summer bouquet. This was actually a late April wedding but it includes a lot of the early summer favourites so would be equally fabulous for a June wedding. Soft, romantic and wonderfully scented, I was sorry to part with it !

Purple, pink, lavender and mauve bouquet with peonies, sweet peas, roses, stocks and lavender, perfect for a May- June wedding

Co-ordinating country style buttonhole for the groom, lisianthus, lavender, eucalyptus and asparagus fern. The remaining men wore smaller designs without the lavender.

Pink, plum and purple summer bouquet for the bridesmaids who were in plum dresses. A similar mix of flowers to the bride but plum lisianthus adds a dash of the colour to tie in the design to their dresses.

Table centre of peonies, roses, sweet peas, stocks and lavender, perfect for this early summer lavender themed wedding. The flowers are surrounded by tea lights and a scattering of lavender seeds so the venue ( Rookesbury Park School) smelt amazing.
The flowers might look familiar. If so, it is because here we used the bridesmaids bouquets as table centres in vases just adding a couple of extras for the remaining tables. With 6 bridesmaids and flowers this pretty it would be criminal not to use them.

These little pots of flowers lined the top table mixed in with tea lights and a generous scattering of lavender seeds.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Lauren for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I really loved working on this fabulous seasonal scheme for you.
