Sally's Wedding Flowers- Hilton,Southampton

For her May wedding, Sally was looking for a soft but modern look, silver and white for herself and the groom and a gorgeous blend of plum, mauve and ivory for the bridesmaids and the venue flowers. And so here they are - Sally's wedding flowers

Silver and white bouquet of Akito roses with diamante sprays and a surround of silver wire mesh. The perfect compliment to Sally's gorgeous dress.

Silver and white buttonhole for the groom, Akito rose with silver wire mesh leaf to coordinate perfectly with the bridal bouquet.

Bouquets of Memory Lane and Avalanche roses with lisianthus and a stunning ivory and plum calla lily for the bridesmaids.

Ivory and plum calla lily buttonholes for the remaining men.

Long and low design in ivory, pink and purple-plum using large ivory and Memory Lane roses, calla lilies, lisianthus and freesias. This design was first used on the ceremony table and was later moved to the top table for the reception.

The Hilton Southampton, flowers all set up for Sally's wedding ceremony.

Table centre of roses and freesias around a central candle in a goldfish bowl. A scattering of petals completes the look.

Mark and Cathy's Wedding Flowers, New Place

 For their special day, Mark and Cathy wanted something a little different, very different in fact and unique to them. The groom loved colour, lots of it and as bright as possible please. The bride loved ferns and I mean she really loved ferns and a very natural, sort of country style look bordering on the "messy" Plans were made for each of the guest tables to be themed around a different colour using different flowers but a consistent country style look throughout - incorporating Cathy's favourite ferns. And so here they are Mark and Cathy's wedding flowers;

Country style corsage using lilac and purple lisianthus - and ferns.

Freesia and Sword fern corsage for Mark's mum.

Mini sunflower bouquet using purple clematis and lisianthus with fern, lime alchemilla mollis and a touch of solidago for the bridesmaid.

Yellow and purple country style bouquet of sunflowers, clematis, lisianthus and fern with alchemilla mollis.

Cathy's bouquet, a lightweight and very natural looking mix of flowers using lilac roses, purple clematis,  lisianthus, blue delphinium, pink freesia with sword fern, alchemilla mollis and trails of evergreen jasmine.

The bouquet and the ring.

The bouquet and the dog !
Love this shot, thank you so much Chess Photography for sharing it.

Bouquet in action, not to neat and note the fern!

Buttonhole of purple lisianthus and fern for the men

Candelabra flowers in pinks and lime greens in the natural country style. I used the more rustic black metal candelabra and used trails of ivy and lisianthus flowers to bring colour and flowers down to the table. The venue is New Place, Shirrell Heath

Candelabra flowers in lilac and pale green with a touch of lime.

Candelabra flowers at night.

Lilac table flowers using Ocean Song roses, lilac and pale green lisianthus with ferns and ivy trails.

The blue table using delphinium and agapanthus with a dash of yellow and lime. The electric blue of this particular delphinium is completely stunning and enabled me to keep the blue table nice and bright as well. If you are not careful how you use them, blues can disappear in a scheme - no danger of that here.

Country style candelabra using sunflowers with purple clematis. These mini sunflowers work wonderfully well with this rustic style candelabra.

Purple and pink candelabra flowers with a dash of lime and cerise to lighten and brighten. The purple is provided by the lisianthus and the allium - another one of the bride's favourite things. Note the fern too !

I absolutely love this night time shot of the candelabra from the very talented Chess Photography, if you have ever tried photographing red and orange flowers in the dark you will appreciate it all the more !

Wedding Flowers at New Place, Shirrell Heath -red and black - perfect for the Arden Suite.

The green table, the stunning lime chrysanthemum is the star of the show here mixed with purple lisianthus and yellow solidago.

New Place, wedding flowers in the Arden Suite all set up ready for Mark and Cathy's reception

Wedding flowers at the Arden Suite, New Place, Shirrell Heath - rainbow theme. Every table themed to a different colour.

Mixed bright pedestal flowers using lime chrysanthemums, red and orange roses, electric blue delphiniums, purple lisianthus and mixed ferns. These were used for the ceremony and later moved to the Arden Suite for the reception.

Mixed bright pedestal flowers - a close up.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Mark and Cathy for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working with you on your unique scheme and with all those glorious flowers and colours. Very many congratulations on your marriage.

Sue's Wedding Flowers,The Shoe Exton.

For her wedding at the end of April, Sue chose a gorgeous blend of Memory Lane and Dolomiti roses, a  stunning deep purple clematis, a touch of freesia and a little pale green lisianthus. We both loved it and I thought you might like to see - so here they are - Sue's wedding flowers

Bouquet of Memory Lane and Dolomiti roses, purple clematis, pink freesias, pale green lisianthus and a touch of myrtle for our bride. This purple clematis really is gorgeous in bouquets and it's a lot stronger than you might think. A stunning alternative to some of the more usual purple flowers. I love it !

Buttonhole of Dolomiti rose and myrtle for the men, this is stunning vintage styled rose somewhere between ivory and a soft lemon in colour. Another one of my favourite flowers and today it did a superb job of exactly matching the groom's shirt !

Bouquet in purple,ivory,mauve-pink and pale green using roses, clematis, freesias, lisianthus and a touch of myrtle.

Cube vase of purple, ivory, pale green and pink-mauve flowers destined for The Shoe in Exton. These small narrow vases are perfect for pub tables where there isn't much space in the middle of the table. Later they also did duty in the marquee for the evening reception.

Rose, clematis, freesia and lisianthus table centre in a rectangular vase lined with aspidistra

Square table centre using mauve, purple, pink and ivory flowers.

Sue's stacked wedding cake with roses, clematis, freesias and lisianthus.

Jeanne's Vintage Style Wedding Flowers, Wherwell Priory

The always beautiful Memory Lane rose and the stunning ivory-purple calla lily are firm favourites among brides and for Jeanne I combined them with pale pink double freesias, pale green lisianthus, mixed foliages and lots of jasmine for a gorgeous vintage style scheme.

Contemporary buttonhole of ivory-purple calla lily with loops and trails of grass for the men.

Vintage styled table centre of goldfish bowl with jasmine trails inside and a posy of roses, calla lilies, freesias and lisianthus with vintage toned foliages. The posies were hand tied so they could make a gorgeous memento after the wedding for some lucky guests.

Tall vintage styled table centre in cocktail vase of roses, calla lilies, freesias, lisianthus, mixed foliages including trails of jasmine for a stunning soft and romantic look.

Close up Photo - Sally Johnson

Vintage styled low table centre in goldfish bowl lined with jasmine trails.
For the marquee at Wherwell Priory,  we mixed these low but generous table centres with the tall designs in cocktail vases to provide colour and interest at every level. The result was just gorgeous. Every table was decorated with fresh scattered rose petals and tea lights to help make a magical atmosphere as the light went down.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Jeanne for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on this gorgeous scheme for you. And very many congratulations on your marriage
