For her wedding, Andrea chose a slightly unusual colour combination of yellows and pinks and a vintage tea party / Cath Kidston inspired look. I loved working on it and I loved all the gorgeous little touches Andrea put in to make it extra special, no detail was overlooked and it showed. I thought the end result was stunning but see what you think. And so here they are - Andrea's wedding flowers
Buttonholes of Cezanne roses, the perfect combination of colours for Andrea's wedding in one flower.
Wrist corsage of pale pink lisianthus and bouvardia for the bride's mum.
Bridal bouquet vintage style in yellows and pinks. The beautiful buttermilk yellow roses are Artemis which combine perfectly with the bi coloured Cezanne and the ever popular Mimi Eden. A deep pink lisianthus, white freesia and a gorgeous ivory rose called Dolomiti complete the look. The flowers are soft and frilly and perfect for this look.
Yellow, pink and white bridal bouquet vintage / Cath Kidston inspired.
Bridesmaids' bouquets of roses, stocks, freesias and lisianthus in buttermilk yellows, pinks and whites. All boxed and ready to go. The bridesmaids were in a strong pink so I used a higher proportion of the buttermilk stocks and roses and slightly less of the pinks so the bouquets looked amazing against the pink of the dresses.
Vintage style tall table centre in soft yellows and pinks using hydrangeas, roses and stocks. The reception was in the lovely Norman Court School in West Tytherley with it's tall ceilings, pillars and elegant stair case so these taller designs worked really well.
Vintage tea party and Cath Kidston inspired wedding table, I loved these table name and menu cards and the little easel the menu sat on.
Top table flowers with candles, a lovely long and low design of hydrangeas, mixed roses and lisianthus in buttermilk yellows, ivory and mixed pinks. I decorated the remaining length of the table with scattered individual flowers from the hydrangeas and stocks, a gorgeous and more unusual alternative to rose petals. Tea lights completed it.
Wedding flowers at the Norman Court School in West Tytherley, the bride's view from her place at the top table.
Tall vintage inspired table centres in yellows and pinks.
I loved the vintage tea cups and saucers tied with the guests name tag, even the cutlery was vintage and hired in from the lovely ladies at The Tea Party in Southsea
Top table flowers with mantle flowers and candles behind.
That just leaves me to say thank you so much Andrea for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on your gorgeous Cath Kidston / vintage tea party theme and with all those beautiful flowers. And very many congratulations on your marriage.
