Liz's Classic Wedding Flowers in Pinks and Purples, Avington park

A beautiful, classic scheme in ivories, purples and a touch of soft pinks for Liz's June wedding at the beautiful Avington Park. After a decidedly dodgy start, the sun came out to make a perfect summer wedding day.

Classic shower bouquet of soft pink and ivory roses, purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and white bouvardia with mixed fine foliages. A timelessly elegant bridal bouquet for Liz.

Bridesmaids carried a posy style co-ordinating bouquet of ivory and soft pink roses, purple lisianthus and white bouvardia.

Candelabra are perfect for weddings at Avington Park, this one for the top table has a floral wreath at the base. The soft pink and ivory roses, with purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and a touch of white bouvardia looked stunning.

A floral wreath at the base of a candelabra makes a stunning table centre, this one has a sneaky difference though. It is made in 4 sections to make a square. After the wedding breakfast the sections were moved and butted together to make a stunning decoration for the smaller mantle in the library at Avington Park.

Candelabra flowers at Avington Park, these were decorated with simple garlands of soft pink and ivory roses for the guest tables.

A traditional floral design for the fireplace mantle at Avington Park ( Entrance Hall) using soft pink and ivory roses, purple lisianthus and lilac freesia.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Liz for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on this scheme for you and I hope you all had a fabulous day.

Kiah's Coral and Blue Wedding Flowers - Avington Park

There have been some very beautiful weddings this Spring/ Summer, so many I have got very behind with all the photos but here is a very pretty one from last weekend. An unusual scheme of coral and blue with a very soft, summery and natural look.

KIah's bouquet of coral peony, blue nigella and forget-me-not, Miss Piggy and garden roses, salmon sweet peas and a little astilbe. Very soft and very summery. Perfect for the beautiful May day she had.

Coral and blue bouquet of Romantic Antike garden roses, Miss Piggy roses, sweet peas, blue love in the mist ( Nigella) and forget-me-not with a little astilbe. A very soft and natural english summer garden look for the bridesmaids.

Buttonhole of Coral Miss Piggy rose with blue forget-me-not. Very pretty.

The entrance hall mantle at Avington Park decorated with a simple design of storm lanterns and candles with loose mixed foliage and roses.

Karen's Fun and Wild Wedding Flowers, Avington Park

I have to say I had a lot of fun working on these gorgeous designs for Ian and Karen's March Wedding at Avington Park. The colours were a gorgeous rich mix of burgundy, fresh spring green and silver and the look was very natural - almost wild. It was important to create a sense of fun for the wedding breakfast so we worked on some very different table ideas - each one different but all with same very natural look.

Karen's bouquet, a very natural almost wild shower bouquet in burgundy, green and silver using calla lilies, ranunculus, singapore orchids, freesias, viburnum opulus and eucalyptus.

Bouquet in deep burgundy, spring green and silver for the bridesmaids, the same natural almost wild look using calla lilies, ranunculus, singapore orchid, viburnum opulus, ornithogalum, curly twig and eucalyptus.

A very fun tall table design of burgundy gerberas, tulips, orchid and viburnum opulus with spires of curly twig and ornithogalum. Definitely a design to raise a smile.

Nereide's Christmas Wedding Flowers

What a lovely way to end 2011, working on a fabulous New Years Eve wedding at Avington Park. This was a black tie event and our bride was looking for very traditional Christmas themed flowers with lots of roses, berries and winter foliages. And so here they are, Ned's Christmas themed wedding flowers.

Christmas themed bouquet of red roses, skimmia, spray roses and mixed foliages for our bride.

These beautiful photos are by Dave of Burlison Photography  (www.burlisonphotography.co.uk ),
A huge thank you to him for sharing them with us.

The lovely bride and groom after their wedding at Avington Park

Christmas themed pedestal flowers, red roses, cream spray roses and lots of berries mixed with traditional winter foliages. This very traditional look is perfect for the stunning period interior of Avington Park and the magnificent ballroom where the ceremony took place.

Christmas themed wedding flowers, a close up of the pedestal. Another beautiful shot by Dave of Burlison Photography.

Traditional winter flowers for the fireplace at Avington Park, I used the stunning Amaryllis - a winter favourite, roses and berries combined with traditional winter foliages to create it and a roaring log fire completes the Christmas look !

Winter wedding at Avington Park.

Christmas themed candelabra flowers in reds, creams and greens. I used mixed red roses, cream spray roses and lots of pine mixed with other foliages to create this formal wintery design. Long ivy trails, tea lights and a scattering of fresh red rose petals are the perfect finishing touches.

Another beautiful image by Burlison Photography and possibly my favourite. There were so many it's hard to choose but this night time shot is gorgeous.

The Marquee set up ready for Ned and Ray's wedding reception. Half the tables were decorated with the tall candelabra and the other half were decorated with a large multi wick candle surrounded by a wedding themed wreath of roses, berries and foliage. With all the candles lit, it looked stunning.

Winter candelabra flowers, a huge ball of roses, berries and wintery foliages with long ivy trails.  One of my photos, just in case there's any doubt !

Low, winter table centre of roses, berries and mixed foliages around a chunky church candle in reds and creams, just perfect for a Christmas wedding.

Flowers and photos by Fiori By Lynne

I had to show you this, I just loved the troop of cut out elephants marching around the flowers, these gorgeous fellows were used as place name cards with each table being named after a country in Africa.

Winter fireplace flowers at Avingtpn Park. Amaryllis, roses and berries. Actually this design was intended for  the ledge of  large and very tall window, this was a very temporary home.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Ned and Ray for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on these very Christmassy designs and it was a real pleasure working with you. Very many congratulations on your marriage.

A  last and very special thank you to Dave of Burlison Photography for his beautiful photographs without which this post would not have looked as it does. Photographing flowers at night is not an easy task and these images are just stunning.  Thank you Dave.
