Emma's Contemporary Purple Wedding Flowers, Langrish House

Bride's often say their wedding gowns are very different from the ideas they had on dresses when they first started looking. And so it is with flowers. It would be fair to say that the flowers Emma choose were pretty much the exact opposite of what she had in mind when she first came to see me. It is not that I tried to talk her out of her original ideas, it was more of a love at first sight thing !

Purple hydrangea and lisianthus with sprays of diamante make a stunning contemporary bouquet for Emma. A long way from the loose, unstructured mix she had in mind originally but it was perfect for her very lovely wedding dress with it's glamourous feel.

Bouquet of purple hydrangea and lisianthus with a touch of sparkle. A perfect ball of purple flowers, simple and very striking.

Buttonholes of purple double lisianthus flowers co-ordinate perfectly.

Flower girl posy of purple lisianthus with galax leaf edging. Small, light and perfect for tiny hands.

Flower girl posies, boxed and ready to go.

Silver and purple wrist corsage using purple lisianthus on a hand made silver wire mesh bangle for the adult bridesmaids.

Purple lisianthus hair decoration for the adult bridesmaids. Looked stunning with their deep purple dresses and matching wrist corsages.

Purple hydrangea and lisianthus make a striking, modern table centre. Around the base are little silver pots of purple lisianthus and tea lights. Gorgeous for the purple and silver theme.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Emma for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I loved working on this striking and modern scheme. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Ellie's Yellow and Blue Wedding Flowers, Marwell Hotel

Nothing like a touch of yellow to brighten up a grey autumn day. For Ellie's wedding it's combined with blue and a touch of white for a fresh, young and very pretty look in the country style. Ellie loved daisies, lots of them - being October, I've used Aster but in a way that has exactly the look she was after.

Yellow roses, blue hydrangea, freesias, "daisies" ( Aster) and gypsophila make a gorgeous bouquet for Ellie. Fresh, modern, pretty and slightly country style.

Country style bouquet in blue and yellow using roses, hydrangea, aster, freesia and gypsophila.

Buttonhole of yellow rose, aster and gypsophila for the groom, a tied design in the country style to co-ordinate perfectly with our bride.

Buttonhole of cream lisianthus and aster for the men.

Bridesmaids bouquets in blue and yellow, all boxed and ready to go. A smaller and simpler version of the bridal bouquet.

Yellow and blue flowers in ivory painted pots were used to decorate the ceremony table ready for Ellie's wedding at the Marwell hotel. The mini pots held tea lights and a touch of moss to carry through the country style look. Very cute and always a hit, it's the little details that bring it all together.

Table centres of ivory painted pots with yellow and blue country style flowers - using hydrangea, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, aster and gypsophila. With mini pots of tea lights and moss. Using pots in mixed shapes and sizes adds interest.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Ellie for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, it was a absolute pleasure. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Autumn Wedding Flowers, New Place

Open day flowers at New Place, Shirrell Heath. A chance to show brides to be a few ideas for decorating this lovely venue. I decided on a gorgeous early autumn scheme in corals using large roses, lots of berries and oak leaves with candles for a lovely seasonal twist in the Arden Suite.

Early autumn design for the top table using coral roses, mixed berries and oak laves with candles. This design could of course be used first on the ceremony table for those brides choosing a civil service at this hotel. The remaining length of the table was decorated with scattered oak leaves and tea lights.

Tall, autumnal table centre in corals and greens using coral roses, mixed berries and oak leaves with curly willow twigs in the centre of the vases and scattered leaves at the base.

Low autumnal table centre in a goldfish bowl using curly willow twig wound inside and a design of coral roses, berries and oak leaves for the top. Tea lights and scattered leaves complete the look.

Sarah's Autumn Wedding Flowers, Rhinefield House

I love seasonal designs and schemes do not get much more autumnal than this one, Sarah's gorgeous wedding at Rhinefield House. Colours chosen as they appeared in the first bouquet  of flowers Sarah's husband to be - as he was then- gave her. Very romantic.

Autumnal tear drop bouquet of red, orange and cream roses, red tipped green hydrangea and skimmia for our bride. Very seasonal and very beautiful.

Autumn bouquet in reds, oranges, greens and creams using roses, spray roses, hydrangea, skimmia and myrtle. Bridesmaids carried this hand tied posy style version of the bridal bouquet.

And for the flower girl, a single rose version using an orange rose with red spray rose, hydrangea and skimmia. Small, light and perfect for tiny hands, little girls love these mini posies.

Autumnal vase designs decorate the mantlepiece in the Kings room at Rhinefield with the bride's own LOVE letters in the centre.

Table were decorated with candelabra and for the top table I created a table runner of red rose petals and added mini wedding themed vases of flowers and lots of tea lights.

For more ideas for tables have a look at Penelope's autumn wedding flowers on my main web site, gorgeous tall and low autumnal tables centres with lots of candlelight. Just click the link or find it in the venue flowers section.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Sarah for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I loved working on this very seasonal scheme. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Lauren's White and Silver Wedding Flowers, Langrish House

A pretty little all white wedding with a touch of sparkle and a hint of silver for Lauren.

All white bouquet of Akito roses, singapore orchids and sprays of diamante to give a touch of sparkle for our bride. Photos don't really do this design justice, it really was quite beautiful. I loved it !

Bridesmaids design of white Akito roses and sprays of diamante with a hand made silver wire mesh surround.

Ladies buttonhole of Akito rose, hand made silver wire mesh leaf and diamante for the mums.

For nan, a simple but pretty design of rose and diamante spray.

Roses, singapore orchids and candles within a goldfish bowl make a very pretty table centre. Using a large rose is key to this design and the individual orchid flowers provide an extra special touch. Nothing like candle light for an autumn wedding breakfast.

Top table, mixed vase design. Vases of large ivory roses and white orchids mixed with mini vases of a single rose and the vase in the middle is ready and waiting for Lauren's bouquet. The venue is Langrish House.

Large ivory roses and white singapore orchids, close up.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Lauren for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on this modern but classic look. Very many congratulations on your marriage
