Jenna's Rustic Gypsophila - East Horton Golf Club

Rustic Gypsophila was the look Jenna chose for her beautiful wedding breakfast at the East Horton Golf Club. Masses of soft and pretty gyp, with natural string, burlap and card. Just gorgeous.

Jenna's Bouquet of gypsophila with a surround of tree fern and finished with natural string and diamante pin. The tree fern just adds a little definition to the edges of the bouquet to help with those all important photos.

Bridesmaid's bouquets of massed gypsophila finished with brown string and diamante pin.

Buttonholes of gypsophila finished with brown string for the men.

Gypsophila - tall table centre given a rustic twist with natural willow twig and pebbles inside the vase. Tea lights in burlap covered holders look gorgeous underneath and the favours are covered in brown paper.

East Horton Golf Club ready for Jenna's wedding reception. Jenna's rustic theme is perfect for this venue and I love how the willow twig in the vases picks up on the lovely wooden beams .  This is a beautiful venue for a wedding, for more info see

Gypsophila trails wound through the bird cage make a truly gorgeous table plan. A lovely idea for a table plan with a difference, so very soft and pretty.

Bird cage table plan decorated with gypsophila trails.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Jenna for asking me to create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on this very soft, pretty and rustic theme.I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Pippa's Bright and Beautiful Wedding Flowers, Trafalgar Park.

Sorry it's been a while since my last post. I haven't had my feet up  ! I have been kept exceptionally busy on the flower front and all else has got a little behind.  Just so you know I am still around and working, here are  a few shots from Pippa's lovely wedding at Trafalgar Park. I will write a bit about the designs soon and lots more lovely weddings  follow.

Pippa's bouquet of pale and strong pink roses, lilac freesia and purple lisianthus, the 4 colours her bridesmaids were wearing. The pink astilbe, asparagus fern and the touch of foliage give the bouquet that soft vintage feel Pippa loved.

Bridesmaids' vintage style posies of pale pink rose, purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and strong pink spray rose. A smaller version of the bridal bouquet. Each bridesmaid was in a different colour but the same dress, they carried posies using all 4 colours to bring the look together.

Vintage style buttonholes of Sweet Avalanche rose, astilbe and purple lisianthus for teh men.

For the ladies, a co-ordinating design but using the strong pink spray rose.

Ceremony flowers at Trafalgar Park, a wedding themed long and low design of pale pink roses, purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and strong pink spray rose with astilbe and mixed vintage style foliages.

Table Centre with fan for the table name. Now there is a story behind this design, Pippa and her husband met through Hampshire Regency Dancing and this was the group's first wedding. Each table is named after a Regency Dance and the fan was a perfect way to display the table names. The fan is held by a small vase containing Pippa's flowers to give the table a splash of colour.

Fan, place name - perfect.

Last but not least, the tiered wedding cake made by the groom's mum with the space between each tier filled with pink, purple and lilac flowers. Very striking.

That just leaves me to say, thank you so much Pippa for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. It was an absolute pleasure working on the mix of bright colour and soft vintage style.

Gemma and Mike's Vintage Garden Themed Wedding, Rhinefield House

A lovely vintage/garden themed wedding with a gorgeous mix of flowers and colours. Gemma was keen for the flowers to have a very natural look to fit in with the garden theme. Just beautiful for a late June wedding .

Gemma's vintage toned bouquet of Memory Lane roses, pink peonies, pale green roses, gypsophila and astilbe in  mauves, pinks and fresh green. Beautiful for a late June wedding and I love how the pale green adds a touch of summer freshness to these vintage colours

Vintage toned summer bouquet in mauves, pinks and greens using roses, peonies, astilbe and gypsophila for the bridesmaids - a smaller version of the bridal bouquet. Lovely, fresh and very natural.

Rhinefield House and a different idea for a vintage themed wedding. A floral tree in vintage tones of mauve, pink and greens using a painted flower pot as a base. Underneath are pretty little painted mini flower pots containing tea lights and a little moss.

Vintage style flowers in painted flower pots make gorgeous low table centres to mix with the floral trees. This one uses memory Lane roses, pink peonies, Green Fashion roses, astilbe and gypsophila.

Ali's Very Natural, Ivory, Purple and Teal Wedding Flowers with a touch of Wild

Ali described herself as "a bit of a hippy at heart", a tall willowy bride in a long flowing Jenny Packham Dress -  this called for something a bit different. I love something a bit different ! The colours are purple, teal, silver and ivory  and the style, very natural with a hint of wild. Nothing to formal or to structured.

Trailing and very natural, tied bouquet in purples, ivory, silver and deep green using roses, lisianthus, passion flower and astilbe with silver eucalyptus and loops and trails of ivy.

Purple, ivory, silver and deep green country style bouquet using Dolomiti roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus and passion flower with loops of ivy. For Ali's bridesmaid.

Natural, tied bouquet  of ivory roses, purple lisianthus, astilbe, eucalyptus, passion flower and loops of ivy. Just a touch of wild about this design.

Buttonhole of Dolomiti rose and deep green ivy leaf for the men.

And for the ladies, a corsage of ivory rose, spray rose, astilbe and ivy leaf.

Lastly, a close up of Ali's bouquet, a gorgeous mix of  ivory roses, purple lisianthus and astilbe with long trails of eucalyptus, ivy and passion flower.

I had a lovely note from Ali after our initial meeting thanking me for " achieving the impossible - making me excited about my flowers" And an equally gorgeous text after the wedding because she absolutely loved her flowers and her bouquet. That meant so much - to know that you can inspire people to love flowers even when they thought that was not possible.Like men, there is a bouquet for everyone, even those who had given up !

On that, I will just say thank you so much Ali for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I really did love working on these gorgeous and very natural designs for you and I am so glad they were loved so much.

Kate's Contemporary Wedding Flowers, The Tithe Barn, Petersfield

For their wedding at the Tithe Barn in Petersfield Kate and Doug chose a lovely fresh colour scheme of palest green and white and a very soft and pretty look with a contemporary edge. I loved it !

Kate's bouquet of ivory and pale green roses, lisianthus and freesia with a surround of palm leaf and grass. A classic bouquet given a contemporary twist by the surround. Little diamante pins in some of the roses added some sparkle.

Bridesmaids' modern bouquet in pale greens and white using roses, freesias and lisianthus with palm leaf edging. A smaller version of the bridal bouquet but without the sparkle. Against their midnight blue dresses they looked stunning.

Modern posy for the flower girl using ivory and green roses, freesias and lisianthus with palm leaf. A smaller version again.

Silver star wand with lisianthus and grasses, always a hit with little flower girls.

Modern buttonhole of ivory rose with loops and spires of grass and a band of ivory ribbon for the groom.

For mum, a pretty wrist corsage in pink and white flowers on a hand made silver wire bangle.

Tall, contemporary table centres, the Tithe Barn in Petersfield. All flowers in place ready for the wedding breakfast.

Modern low table centre of green and white flowers and grasses in mixed vases. The central larger vase is surrounded by little votives of freesias and lisianthus, tea lights and scattered rose petals. We mixed these low designs with the taller designs in cocktail vases to give colour and flower at every level.

The Tithe Barn, Petersfield, all flowers in place for the wedding reception. All we need now is the bride and groom !

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Kate and Doug for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. It was an absolute pleasure and I am so glad you were so pleased with the flowers.
