Jonquil's Pink and Purple Wedding Flowers

For her November wedding, Jonquil wanted bouquets in a mix of pinks and purples, something fairly bright, natural but classic and here is what we came up with;

Purple and pink wedding bouquet of roses, freesias, lisianthus and anemones with rosemary. A gorgeous scented mix of flowers and colours, I loved it, Jonquil loved it.

The anemones are perfect for a winter wedding and can also be sourced into the spring. All other flowers are available all year round

Jonquil's wedding bouquet, a mix of pink Heaven and Sweet Avalanche roses, purple lisianthus, freesias and anemones.

Groom's buttonhole of pink rose, purple lisianthus and rosemary

Wedding themed wrist corsage of pink rose and rosemary on hand made silver wire bangle  for a mum.

Flower Girl's design of pink rose, purple lisianthus and freesia with rosemary, gorgeous.

For the bridesmaids, I created this simpler version of mixed pink roses with purple anemones and rosemary, still just as stunning.

Bridesmaids bouquets all boxed and ready to go

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Jonquil for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on these designs for you. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Lily's Christening Flowers - RAF Yacht Club, Hamble

 Weddings account for the vast majority of my work but every now and again, I get the chance to work on some other events and I was really pleased to be asked to create the flowers for the Christening of Lily Rose. Now Lily Rose is one of the cutest little things ever and her mum was keen to have some very girlie flowers to suit. We choose a vintage scheme of Sweet Avalanche roses, astilbe, lisianthus and spray rose with a little mixed foliage and some painted flower pots as a container. And here they are;

Vintage table flowers in pinks and whites of Sweet Avalanche roses and Astilbe ( both flowers used in Rachel's wedding bouquet) spray rose and lisianthus.

Vintage styled pink and white table flowers for Lily's christening party at the RAF Yacht Club, Hamble

Tied design of rose, astilbe and lisianthus for the cake, actually the top tier of mum's wedding cake as is the tradition.

That just leaves me to say thank you Rachel for asking me to design and create the flowers for Lily's special day, it was an absolute pleasure.

Kirsty's Guy Fawkes Night Wedding Flowers- Rhinefield House

For her winter wedding at Rhinefield House Kirsty had chosen a white and purple colour scheme and she was keen to give her flowers a Guy Fawkes twist whilst keeping the overall look elegant. To good an opportunity to miss I thought and so here is what we came up with  -

Winter wedding bouquet in white and purple using roses, white and purple calla lilies with huge spider chrysanthemums. I really love these Chrysanthemums for a winter wedding particularly and we both thought they were perfect for the Guy Fawkes theme, just like exploding fireworks.

Kirsty's white and purple wedding bouquet finished with a diamante flower brooch that matched the detail on her gorgeous wedding dress.

Guy Fawkes night inspired bridesmaids' bouquets of white carnation complete with a silver diamante firework. Actually, originally a hair slide I found on my travels. As soon as I saw them I thought of Kirsty's wedding, a pair of pliers and some floristry wire soon had them adapted  for use in the bouquets.

The ceremony table was decorated with these vases of white spider chysanthemums finished with purple ribbon and a diamante buckle. They were also a perfect compliment to Kirsty's elegant wedding cake so after the wedding I moved them to the cake table where they looked rather splendid.

For the tables, Kirsty chose these silver candelabra with mirror plate and silver pots of white spider chrysanthemums and carnations to keep the theme going. A scattering of purple table crystals completed the look and all the tables were named after fireworks. How splendid are those toffee apples !

That just leaves me to say Thank you so much Kirsty for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on this theme for you. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Debbie's Vintage Autumn Wedding Flowers - Rhinefield House

For her late October wedding, Debbie chose a strong autumn, vintage look using the popular Amnesia and Vendela roses with gold sprayed berries and skeleton leaves. We also used lots of candlelight to create a magical atmosphere - perfect for her Harry Potter themed wedding. And so here they are - Debbie's wedding flowers.

Buttonhole of Amnesia rose, ivory spray rose and ivy leaf for the groom. The other men wore co-ordinating buttonholes using the Vendela rose.

Trailing pedestal design of Amnesia, Vendela and Bombastic spray roses with berries and skeleton leaves. One design for either side of the base of the aisle.

For the tables, I created a wreath of mixed roses, skeleton leaves and berries around a hurricane vase containing a church candle. A design that's just perfect for cosy Autumn weddings.

For the top table, I created this generous trailing design with candles in hurricane vases in between. Some of the sections were used to dress the ceremony table for the wedding so Debbie could make maximum use of these gorgeous flowers. The pedestal designs used at the base of the aisle were then moved to either side of the top table for the wedding breakfast.

Rhinefield House all laid out ready for Debbie's wedding reception.

The bride and groom admire the cake.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Debbie for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on your gorgeous autumn, vintage theme. And very many congratulations on your marriage.

Charlotte's Autumn Wedding Flowers - East Horton Golf Club

For her October wedding, Charlotte choose a lovely mix of pale roses, freesias and foliages to give a beautifully soft, classic but natural look to her flowers. The designs also had hints of vintage and hints of autumn and very beautiful they were too.  And so here they are - Charlotte's wedding flowers.

Buttonholes of rose, eucalyptus and ivory hypericum berry for the men.

Charlotte's autumn bouquet of roses, freesias and berries with trails of ivy. To create it I used Avalanche and Vendela roses with freesias and hypericum berry mixed with variegated pittosporum, asparagus fern and eucalyptus.

Posy of rose, berry, mixed foliages and a butterfly, 1 each for the 2 little flower girls.

Wrist corsage of rose with eucalyptus leaf, asparagus fern and diamante for Charlotte's mum.

Alison's Autumn Wedding Flowers, Rownhams House

Alison had set her wedding for the 1st October and  was looking for a strong autumnal look to her flowers to reflect the changing season. Inspired by her love of the stunning autumnal leaves and colours we devised a beautifully seasonal floral scheme using red oak leaves, berries, roses and freesias in gorgeous autumnal colours. Naturally, the english weather had other ideas, it was 80 degrees in the shade !
