Claudia's Pale Blue,Green,Ivory Wedding Flowers, De Vere Grand Harbour

August is a fabulous time for hydrangea and I love them mixed with roses and orchids. Claudia chose an absolutely gorgeous variety that has both pale blue and mint green tones, very soft and very beautiful and so here they are - Claudia's wedding flowers.

Pale blue, mint green and ivory bouquet of hydrangea, singapore orchids and roses.

Corsages of ivory roses and singapore orchid for the ladies. The men wore classic buttonholes of rose and double leaf.

Pale blue-green hydrangea, avalanche roses and white singapore orchids make a gorgeous table centre. This one is low and the inside of the vase is decorated with orchid flowers threaded onto grass for an unusual contemporary touch. The idea can be adapted to make a striking tall version too, have  a look at Lisa's wedding a couple of posts down.

Low table centre of hydrangea, roses and orchids in pale blues, greens and ivory.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Claudia for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I really loved working on this gorgeous scheme with it's oh so soft colours. Very many congratulations on your marriage.

Large ivory roses, red bouvardia and looped grass, a stunning bouquet for the bridesmaids who were in red.

A co-ordinating posy for the flower girl, ivory roses and red bouvardia.

Pedestal flowers at St Pauls church, Sarisbury Green. Rich red roses, white bouvardia and lisianthus, church candles and mixed green foliages make a gorgeous  design for Claire's wedding at this very pretty church. I placed one of these designs either side of the aisle at the top to make a lovely frame for the ceremony.

Gorgeous tied pew end of red roses, white bouvardiaa and mixed  foliage finished with tulle bow and trails. Just one thing, there were no pews at this church, just chairs so fixing them posed an interesting little question. Thank goodness for paper covered wire, the tiniest gap between the frame and the cushion and a wonderfully strategically placed bolt !

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Claire for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. It was an absolute pleasure and very many congratulations on your marriage.

Gary and Marcus Civil Partnership, Southampton Art Gallery

Gary and Marcus chose a strong black and white theme for their day and were looking for strong modern flowers that were just a little bit different. A ceremony at the Southampton Art Gallery was followed by an evening do at the Winchester Guildhall via a stop at a local restaurant. This was my first civil partnership and it was an absolute joy to work with Gary and Marcus on these stunning flowers.

Buttonhole of deep aubergine calla lily with leucadendron and loops and spires of black grass. The look is masculine, detailed and about as black as nature gets.

Wrist corsages of white lisianthus with black feathers for the female attendants.

Co-ordinating buttonholes of calla lily and grass for the men and corsages of white lisianthus with loops and spires of grass for the ladies.

and some grand prix roses to lift it all a little.

Claire's Vintage Wedding Flowers, Botleigh Grange

For her wedding at the Botleigh Grange, Claire was looking for a classic look with a touch of vintage. The beautiful roses Vendela and Memory Lane were chosen for their gorgeous colours, a simple look for the bouquets and more mixed designs for the table centres to suit the garden setting and decor of the reception venue. And so here they are, Claire's wedding flowers

Classic bridal bouquet of champagne Vendela roses with rosemary finished off with ivory ribbon bow and trails.

Rose and rosemary bouquet in classic champagne and green.

Buttonhole of Vendela rose with a touch of rosemary,  perfect for the men.

Corsage of pink mini cymbidium orchids for the bride's mum. Toning beautifully with her outfit and the venue flowers.

For the bridesmaid, a co-ordinating bouquet of Vendela roses, white lisianthus and rosemary.

Memory Lane and Vendela roses with freesia make a gorgeous vintage themed table centre that works perfectly in the dining room of the Botleigh Grange with it's garden setting. I love the way the flowers and the garden are reflected in the mirror.

Lisa's Bright & Contemporary Wedding Flowers, Royal Maritime Club

Lisa chose a stunning shade of royal blue for the colour scheme for her wedding. The delphiniums were perfect . All blue schemes can look a little cold though if you are not careful and Lisa's bubbly personality called for something a little different. So here we have it, Lisa's wedding flowers a glorious, bright and cheerful mix of royal blue, bright green and bright pink.

Royal blue, bright pink and green wedding bouquet using delphiniums, roses, orchids, hydrangea and a touch of purple lavender. Lisa loved it, I loved - a success then. The hydrangeas incidentally are a wonderful choice for brides at this time of year - at their best now and available in a glorious range of colours.

Delphinium, rose, orchid and hydrangea bouquet in blues, pinks and greens.

Buttonhole of vendela rose with a band of royal blue ribbon for the men.

Bright pink and green modern bouquet for the bridesmaids using roses, orchids, hydrangea and looped grass.

Modern church pedestal flowers using blue delphiniums, green hydrangeas and cerise orchids with palm leaves.

St Anne's church, Portsmouth naval base, modern pedestal flowers in royal blue, cerise and bright green.

Contemporary tall table centres of green hydrangea and cerise orchid. The trail of orchids down the stem of the vase makes a gorgeous finishing touch, a lovely idea for adding extra impact and a splash of extra colour. The venue is the Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth.

A trail of orchid flowers decorating the stem of the vase and the mirror plate.

Green hydrangea and cerise orchid make a gorgeous low table centre too. Lisa mixed the tall and the low designs to give colour and flower at both levels. I have added loose orchid flowers to the mirror plate to echo the detail on the tall table centres.

The top table was decorated with mixed vase designs with Lisa's wedding bouquet taking pride of place in the centre.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Lisa for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, it was an absolute pleasure working with you on your gorgeous bright and sunny scheme. Very many congratulations on your marriage.
