More Wedding Flowers
I have got a little behind with my blog lately, very sorry ! Please do bear with me because I have some gorgeous schemes to share with you. More posts with lots of lovely photos follow soon. Which according to my Sat Nav is the turning after the next one - usually !!
Kelly's Modern Wedding Flowers, De Vere Grand Harbour, Southampton
Kelly chose red as the colour scheme for her wedding but for her bouquet was keen to use a blend of Cranberry reds, oranges with a dash of lime in a soft but very modern design. And so here they are Kelly's wedding flowers.
Modern trailing bouquet of red roses, orange orchids and freesias with pale green cymbidium orchids and trails of red rose petals and orange orchids. Very striking and very unusual, I loved making this wedding bouquet for Kelly.
Co-ordinating buttonhole of red rose and orange orchid for Luke.
Bouquet of roses, orchids and freesias in reds, oranges and pale green. This design would be suitable for a bridesmaid but in fact is Kelly's bouquet without the trails. It looked quite stunning at this stage and so I thought you might like to see it. In fact the bridesmaids wore trailing wrist corsages of orange rose petals, sadly not something that photographs well unless it is being worn but you can see the corsage design in my main web site in the bouquets section.
Table centre of red roses and petals with candle and tea lights, just stunning with all the candles lit.

Groom's buttonhole of calla lily, lisianthus and grass.

Simple design of calla lily and grasses for the remaining men.
Bridesmaids' bouquets boxed and ready to go.
Contemporary stand design of roses, calla lilies palm leaves and grasses for the Forest Lodge hotel entrance.
Simple designs of rose, a swirl of grass and a scattering of table diamonds for the ceremony table.
Calla lilies and grasses in a goldfish bowl made the perfect table centres. A mirror plate and generous scattering of table diamonds completes the look.
The wedding cake with a simple but romantic surround of calla lily pairs and scattered table diamonds.
That just leaves me to say thank you so much Stacey for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I loved working on these very modern designs and very many congratulations on your marriage.

For her wedding, Lisa choose a gorgeous vintage look in rich creams and buttermilks mixed with ivory and pearls. I loved the more unusual colours here. In fact they make a wonderful choice for low light venues as the colours appear rich, warm and almost luminous even in very low light.
Vintage style bouquet in ivory and creams- buttermilks using roses and stocks with a little foliage and big pearls buried within the design. The bouquet is finished with a big ivory floppy bow to match the detail on the Lisa's dress. I loved it !
