Penelope's Autumn Wedding Flowers,Rhinefield House

Autumn wedding at Rhinefield House. I love this image by Amy Wass which sets the scene perfectly. The scheme is beautifully elegant in gorgeous rich reds, oranges, creams and greens and just perfect for the season

Flower girl's posy of Vendella roses with a buttonhole of rose and cotinus leaves for the bride's father and a co-ordinating corsage for the mum.

The two bridesmaids carried classic bouquets of rich creamy "Vendella" roses.

A mum's corsage of cream rose with mixed black feathers, co-ordinating perfectly with her black feather fascinator.

Our very lovely bride with the sunlight gently falling on those roses.

Tall, autumn themed tablecentres perfect for the Great Hall in Rhinefield House. Penelope had fallen in love with this lovely low, graceful spreading shaped design. We loved it too. To create the look we used mixed orange roses, hypericum berries, red tipped hydrangea, mixed foliages and trails of red amaranthus. The design was sat on a mirror plate decorated with scattered fresh rose petals and vanilla candles to gently scent the room.

Autumn wedding flowers at Rhinefield House, a mix of tall and low table centres looks lovely.

This photo by Amy Wass shows what a lovely atmosphere all the flowers and all that candlelight created for the wedding reception, the tall table centres are tall enough for guests to talk freely to each other across the table

Penelope made all her own table place and menu cards, we loved them.

That just leaves me to say very many congratulations Penelope and Daniel on your marriage and thank you so much for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. I loved working on your strongly autumnal themed and very elegant designs.

Faith's Wedding Flowers, Romantic Purples and Ivory, Elmers Court

The beautiful Elmers Court Hotel in Lymington all set up ready for Faith and Alex's wedding. The date - August bank holiday saturday and just look at the weather !! This was our first outside wedding ceremony and we were so happy to see Faith and Alex have the most perfect summers day. Even more so as some of Alex's family had travelled all the way from Barbados to attend and the days leading up to the big day were distinctly worrying on the weather front. Remember the black skies and all that rain- we do !

The ceremony table flowers- a trailing design of roses, purple stocks and pink gypsophila.

Alex's buttonhole of rose, pink gyp and ruscus leaves.

Faith's very romantic shower bouquet of ivory roses, delicate purple feather butterflies and purple diamante.

A modern long and narrow shape with trails of mixed grasses.

The bridesmaids' posies of roses, butterflies and pink gypsophila with ruscus and asparagus fern. Very soft , very natural and very romantic.
This gorgeous image has kindly been donated to us by Faith's photographer Jan of Essential Images in Lymington. An absolutely lovely lady and very talented with it. She works with the natural light and the results are fantastic.

Danielle's vintage pink & aqua wedding flowers

I have just been lucky enough to have been sent some gorgeous photos of a wedding I did in August, along with a really lovely thank you letter from our bride Danielle. I really do love it when brides write in and share some photos of their day so please do keep them coming.
Danielle was looking for a romantic vintage look in pinks and ivory with delicate butterflies and touches of Aqua inspired by an article she had seen in a magazine. Above is Danielle's wedding bouquet, a lovely mix of soft pink hydrangea, mixed ivory and pale pink roses, spray roses and a couple of butterflies all tied with an aqua satin ribbon.

Her bridesmaids carried these coordinating bouquets with more of the ivory "Avalanche" roses.

Thank you Mark, we absolutely love this image.

Flowergirl's wand style posy of rose, lisianthus and tree fern.

Another absolutely gorgeous shot by Mark Upfield and my personal favourite.

Tall tablecentre of mixed roses, hydrangea and tree fern topped with an aqua candle.

Little designs of aqua candles with carnations, hydrangea and tree fern for underneath the tablecentres and along the top table.

Danielle had set her heart ( please do excuse the pun) on a floral wreath to be hung from the top table. Now we have to confess that the lighting at the venue was very strange and it was way beyond our photographic abilities to produce an even half way representative image of this very lovely wreath.
So thank you so much Kate Truepenny for saving our life with this one.

The top table complete with bride and groom thanks again to Mark Upfield for the image. To decorate the top table we used the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets with the little candle arrangements in between.

Image - thank you Kate Truepenny.
