Laura's Christmas Wedding Flowers, Roses and Thistles

A gorgeous scheme for a Christmas wedding in - North Wales. Now North Wales, I have to say, is a little outside my area ! However, Laura was having difficulty finding a florist to provide fresh flowers for her wedding and as it was one of my designs she loved for her bouquet anyway she contacted me to see if I could help. A kind and willing dad in a hired van solved all transport issues and so here are some of Laura's "flowers to go"

Wedding bouquet of ivory roses, thistles, navy berries, eucalyptus and mistletoe. Perfect for a Christmas or winter wedding. All boxed, ready to go and labelled .

Winter bridal bouquet in ivory, navy blue and silver using roses, scottish thistles, midnight berries, eucalyptus and mistletoe.

The 5 bridesmaids carried a smaller version with a touch more eucalyptus. All carefully packed and in water for the jouney

Men wore buttonholes of rose, thistle and a fine eucalyptus

Top table long and low flowers of roses, thistles, midnight berries, mistletoe, blue pine and eucalyptus with candles. I made a large central design with 3 candles and 2 smaller ones with 2 candles.

Table centres were tall 5 arm candelabra with a co-ordinating wreath of roses, thistles, berries, winter foliages and trails of ivy. The hotel provided the candelabra, Laura provided the measurements and I made the designs to fit - 15 of them. Detailed instructions on the best way to set them up were given. Happily I am told the fit was perfect and they looked completely fabulous. Fingers crossed for some photos.

Also I made co-ordinating designs for the mantlepieces- in sections with candles in hurricane lanterns in between. Just gorgeous.

And all this is why dad needed the van.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Laura for asking me to design and create your wedding flowers for you. It was an absolute pleasure and I really loved putting these flowers together for you. Very many congratulations on your marriage and I hope you had a wonderful day.
