Karen's wedding flowers vintage pink and green

One of the very many things I love about my job is that I get to see and work in so many lovely venues. Todays perfect autumn day saw me take a little drive through Marwell zoo. Over the railway track, a left turn at the Rhinos and I arrived at the Great Hall, the location for Karen and Gavin's vintage style wedding. Below are some of the pictures I took of their flowers.
The colour scheme Karen choose was pink and green with some ivory. Pale pink roses for the men's buttonholes and a corsage for the mums of double green lisianthus complete with a little vintage style pearl and diamante butterfly.

Karen's bouquet of pink and ivory roses with pale green carnation and double lisianthus and the ever popular mini spray rose, mini eden. Her bridesmaid carried a smaller version.

For the top table, we painted flower pots ivory and created these little vintage wedding themed designs. A scattering of fresh rose petals completes the look. Flower pots are wonderful things for vintage, natural and country style flowers and they can be painted any colour of the rainbow: Great for anyone with an "interesting " colour scheme.

I often get asked if I can do thank you bouquets, yes I can, I like to theme them to the wedding so they make gorgeous momentos of the day. I am terribly bad at remembering to photograph them though so I tried to do better this time. Aqua packed, in presentation box, finished with a tie of pale green ribbon and hidden away behind the curtain ready for the moment.

Many thanks Karen for choosing us to design and create your wedding flowers for you. We loved creating these designs for you and very many congraultions on your marriage.
