Georgia's Wedding Flowers,Hayfever free

For Georgia's wedding, we were asked to recommend flowers that could be carried by a bride that suffers from hayfever -very badly. Georgia loves flowers and loved the natural, almost country look and having chosen bridesmaids' dresses in purple was keen on an ivory and lilac colour scheme. To get the look and to keep Georgia looking and feeling her best for her wedding, we recommended hydrangea, which being sterile is safe for hayfever sufferers, orchids, which being completely pollen free are also safe and a few roses. Commercially grown roses should be absolutely fine but not to take any chances we kept their use in Georgia's bouquet to a minimum. Here are the results.
The groom's buttonhole, a gorgeous lightly scented lilac rose called Pacific Blue with singapore orchids.

Buttonholes of rose with ruscus leaves for the remaining men.

The mums wore corsages of singapore orchids with grasses and ruscus leaves.

The bridesmaids' bouquets of hydrangea with loops of variegated ivy and sprays of delicate iridescent beads, boxed and ready to go.

Thank you Georgia for asking us to design and create your wedding flowers for you, we hope you enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.
